Smash burger ingredients:

For 4 smash burgers :

  • Pain Martin Premium (4 soft, lightly brioche buns)
  • 500 g minced meat (80% fat, for irresistible crunchiness)
  • 4 slicesAmerican Cheese 100% Cheddar
  • Quality gherkins (finely chopped for a subtle crunch)
  • Choice of classic sauce (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise)
  • LR FOOD original sauce (curry-mango, truffle, or smoked barbecue)
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Smash burger preparation :

  1. Prepare your ingredients:

    • Remove the meat from the fridge and shape into 125g balls, without compressing too much to preserve the texture.
    • Cut your pickles and prepare your sauces.
  2. Toast your buns:

    • Lightly butter the inside of the Martin buns.
    • In a hot frying pan or on a plancha, brown until golden and crisp. Set aside.
  3. Cook the smash:

    • Heat a cast-iron frying pan or plancha over high heat.
    • Place a ball of meat directly on the hot surface, then immediately flatten it with a heavy spatula into a thin patty.
    • Leave to cook, without moving, for about 2 minutes, until the edges are crisp and lightly caramelized.
    • Flip the patty over and immediately add a slice ofAmerican Cheese. Cover to melt the cheese.
  4. Assemble your smash burger:

    • Spread the bottom of the bun with a classic sauce. Add a cheddar-filled patty, slices of pickle, and finish with a touch of original sauce for a unique twist. Close with the bun cap.
  5. Enjoy without delay:
